If a specific product carries a warranty or guarantee, the contract will be between the customer and the supplier, not Lokalize. Lokalize will pass along any product guarantees but cannot be held responsible if the product does not meet expectations. Product descriptions and information are provided by suppliers. While reasonable attempts are made to verify this information, Lokalize cannot be held responsible if it is not an exact match. General
Agreement of Sale
An agreement of sale between the customer and Lokalize is established when:
- A credit card authorization is received from the issuing bank.
- A deposit via electronic transfer is received by Lokalize and reflects in their bank account.
Lokalize reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order, in whole or in part, under certain circumstances. Any payments made will be refunded. Transactions are only accepted in South African Rands, and deliveries are made within the Republic of South Africa.
Purchasing Products & Sales Restrictions
The website allows you to place electronic orders for products as long as they are available. A purchase contract (or “sale”) between you and Lokalize is finalized only when the online order form is completed and submitted, and your payment is authorized or received in Lokalize’s bank account. This is subject to product availability.
Placing an item in your shopping cart without completing the purchase does not constitute a sale or reservation. Lokalize may remove items from your cart if they go out of stock before the sale is completed. You will be notified, and reasonable efforts will be made to suggest alternatives.
Lokalize is not responsible if an item becomes unavailable while you are in the process of completing your purchase. Lokalize reserves the right to modify content, remove, or add products as needed. Although reasonable efforts are made to keep the product list current, we rely on suppliers for updates on availability. If a product is no longer available from the supplier, we will update the site as soon as possible.
Errors
Lokalize strives to display accurate prices and delivery costs. Prices displayed are an offer to do business, not a binding contract. If a product is listed at an incorrect price or with an incorrect delivery fee, Lokalize is not obligated to fulfil the order at the erroneous price. You may cancel the sale if informed of the correct price or fee, and any payment made will be refunded.
Return Policy
Returns are processed in accordance with our Returns and Refunds Policy.
Home Delivery
Lokalize delivers within business hours across South Africa. As the buyer, you are responsible for providing a correct delivery address and contact numbers.
For door-to-door deliveries, if no one is available to receive the order, the delivery partner will make a second attempt and use the contact number provided or leave a note indicating the delivery attempt.
Delivery Completion
Delivery is considered complete when the order is handed to an individual at the specified address. This also applies when the delivery partner provides proof of delivery. As the buyer, you must inspect the order upon arrival and report any issues within 48 hours. The recipient has the right to refuse the parcel if it appears to have been opened or damaged. Complaints should be sent to support@lokalize.co.za.
Defective Items, Returns, and Refunds
If you are dissatisfied with a purchase due to a defect, incorrect product, or any other reason, please follow the steps in our Returns Policy.
Code of Conduct / Privacy / Laws
Lokalize’s website is hosted and operated in South Africa and is governed by South African laws. Lokalize will take all reasonable steps to protect customer information, as defined by the Promotion of Access to Information Act (PAIA).
Changing Content
Lokalize reserves the right to modify content and remove or add products as needed. While reasonable efforts are made to keep product listings accurate, suppliers provide us with updates. If a product is unavailable from a supplier, you will be informed, and an alternative product may be suggested. If the alternative product is more expensive, the customer will be responsible for paying the difference. Prices are subject to change without notice.
